‘Tis the Season for Holiday Workplace Issues
This presentation will:
- Raise awareness of potential legal concerns accompanying employer-hosted holiday events, including:
Standards of Conduct
Serving Alcohol
Workers’ Compensation
Sexual Harassment
Religion-Related Issues| - Consider best practices for mitigating these risks.
- Examine employer concerns surrounding other holiday-related activities.
- Offer proper employer responses to time off for other religious holidays.
Presented By:
Thomas Henderson is Managing Shareholder at the Memphis office of Olgletree Deakins Law Firm. He has beyond 25 years experience in employment and labor relations matters. He has served as lead counsel in numerous jury trials in state and federal courts across the nation. His trial experience includes defending state and federal discrimination and harassment lawsuits, class actions, FMLA claims, ERISA and benefit claims, trade secret and unfair competition matters, and related state law claims. He also handles NLRB elections and unfair labor practice proceedings.
Mr. Henderson is listed in “The Best Lawyers in America” in three areas and “Mid-South Super Lawyers.”
